American Idol - L.A.

I really don't know if it is me or not, but the auditions just aren't as entertaining this year.

Let's take L.A. for instance, it was horrible.  Out of the whole show I have like ten words written down to share with you about it.  And more than half of those words are here when I say... Randy wore these god awful shiny metallic gold shoes.  I was thinking "FLAVA FLAAAAAVVVVV!"  It looked like he had two Oscars, one on each foot.  It was too funny.  He was trying to work 'em, but it just wasn't happening for me.

The auditions they showed didn't have too many people that made me feel "that's the idol" inside.  They brought in some people who had auditioned on myspace and Karen Rodriguez was one of those that stood out for me when she sang.  I thought she had a really good voice.

The last two guys they showed, the Gutierrez brothers, I thought they were funny and they sang pretty good too.  I don't know if they were sensational, but they were one of the best from the auditions they showed us.

And it all ended with the "I Feel Good" tornado guy.  WTF???  He was screaming through my TV screen, and my son started screaming back to him, and I realized how tired I was and that it was time to throw in the towel.
So Good Night Everyone!
