After putting a whole lot of time and effort into it, I hit my goal numbers for breakfast, lunch and two snacks for the first time! I feel like this was quite an accomplishment on my part. It seems like I am always eating, as a matter of fact, it doesn't seem like it.... it is. And people at work are starting to notice. I am going to have to figure out how to deal with that, maybe prep it all at one time in the morning and then keep organize my snacks together at the privacy of my desk instead of going down to the kitchen and walking back to my desk. Who would have ever guessed that would be a complication? And if too many people make me paranoid about it I am going to diss it all together and I don't want it to get to that point. Tomorrow I will try this new method mentioned above and see how it works out.
As for the workouts, I seem to be ok there. I am trucking along at a pretty good pace. When I leave work at lunch to walk my dog, well... he loves it.... and I feel great doing it the weather has been so nice these past few days. I'll have to tackle bad weather when I get to it. And when I am done and head back to work I feel so rejuvenated and happy and energized.
And after all of these things I got crazy hungry when I picked up my son from my mom's house after work. I made really small portions of her spaghetti and meat sauce with a dab of parmesan and stayed strong on that front. However I seriously wanted some of her sweet tea after what seems like days of water. I got a smaller cup out of the cabinet than I used to and filled it to the brim and allowed myself one glass (hello carbs). And to top it off my son had saved me a yellow piece of king cake (my favorite) so I ate it. I sliced it up into four tiny pieces and dabbed each one with a bit of butter (because for some reason I didn't think it was fattening enough in its natural state). So I enjoyed four small pieces of heaven. With that I topped most of my numbers for today, but the craze just came over me and even though I tried to control it, I stepped over the line.
